MunchMart Cafe App requests permission to access your device's location in the background.
What does this mean?
Background location access allows the App to collect your GPS location data even when the App is not actively open on your screen, but is running in the background. This data is collected continuously while this permission is enabled.
Why do we need this?
- To track real-time delivery status and provide accurate estimated delivery times
- To ensure accurate café location services and show your café to nearby customers
- To optimize order fulfillment and routing for delivery partners and café operations
- To provide location-based notifications about nearby restaurants and offers
- To maintain service quality, address delivery-related issues, and help customers locate their orders
How can you control this?
- You can deny background location permission during app installation or first app launch
- You can revoke background location permission anytime by going to Device Settings → Apps → MunchMart → Permissions → Location and selecting "Only while using the app" or "Don't allow"
- If you deny background location, the App will still function, but delivery tracking accuracy and café visibility may be limited
Your Explicit Consent:
By clicking "Allow" or "Grant Permission" for background location access, or by continuing to use the MunchMart Cafe App after receiving this disclosure, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this background location disclosure. You expressly consent to MunchMart collecting your location data in the background for the purposes outlined above. This location data will be protected according to Section 5 and 8 of this Privacy Policy. You can withdraw this consent at any time by revoking the permission in your device settings.

5. USE OF LOCATION DATA (IMPORTANT DISCLOSURE)

- Improve accuracy of order matching and visibility
- Support operational features dependent on location
- Location data is not used for advertising
- Location data is not sold
- Location data is not shared for marketing purposes
Location permissions can be granted, denied, or revoked at any time via device settings.

A. For Order Fulfillment & App Functionality
